Summit Osur, PhD (she/zie) is an assistant professor of Media Studies at Quinnipiac University where zie teaches courses on TV & society, media technologies, and global media. She has published numerous articles on streaming television’s impact on DEI content, with a particular interest in speculative television programming. She brings her knowledge of 20th century media history to the Stonecoast MFA program in Popular Fiction at the University of Southern Maine, where she writes speculative, historical, queer hopepunk.
